Hello everyone! I continue my notes about life in Dubai. Today I want to tell you what you will 100 percent pay attention to when you are going to fly to the Emirates. This will happen on the plane, although no – at the airport, in the area before departure. At least, for myself I noted this moment very clearly 🙂
My first visit to Dubai happened in 2019. My husband flew to the Emirates a few months earlier and already jokingly said that I would definitely pay attention to one category of passengers on the plane. He didn’t give away the secret, he kept the intrigue. And if you now thought that he meant those who wear traditional Arab clothes, konduras and abayas, and this is also very unusual for many, then you will be wrong. I was ready for this.
ut I didn’t expect to see so many representatives of the fair sex who have reshaped themselves with the help of plastic surgeons, all sorts of Botox, fillers, threads and everything that cosmetology offers. Everything is without measure and as if deliberately pretentious! That is, all these duck lips, faces “bitten by bees”, eyes pulled somewhere into the ear area, breasts of incomprehensible sizes and butts of the same immense volumes you will surely see.
No, I am not at all against such an upgrade, when everything is in moderation, when it allows you to feel more confident and happier. And in the end, no one forces anyone, everyone decides for themselves. However, even what is “too much” is a terrible horror for some, but for others it is the norm of beauty and an excellent result. I was surprised by exactly such a number of identical young ladies made per square meter. Apparently, they love to fly to Dubai “for” and “with” improvements in appearance.
Already being an expat, in Dubai, I am surprised by such a quantity of advertisements for all these plastic and cosmetic procedures. Ads flash every now and then on websites and forums, in social networks and so on. Like, getting a beauty injection is like going for bread. Preferably more often and in large quantities. And I am not talking about bread. With such advertising pressure on the networks, all that is spinning in my head is: maybe I can really change something…
